Helping women in Malawi access justice and settle disputes, using an alternative informal and participatory solution that is free of charge

Access to justice to rural women remains one of the key challenges that is hindering on gender equality and other developmental issues in Malawi UNDP is working with the Paralegal Advisory Service (PASI) on a joint EU-funded Project called “Chilungamo - Access to Justice through Village Mediation and Paralegal Services Project” to help women in Malawi access justice and settle disputes, using an alternative, informal and participatory solution that is free of charge
